Saturday 6/4/2011One of my saving graces in life is my friends. I am blessed to have a great group of friends from high school (BESTIES Shout-out!), a fabulous group of friends from my Chico days (I call them "The Girls"), awesome sorority sisters (AX or die!), and then I have my Sacramento friends.
I am so lucky to work in a place where I have been accepted as a friend and invited to meet their families and other friends. That's how I joined book club. It is amazing. I have never had more interesting conversations, real-life scenarios discussed, and soul examining sessions as I've had with these ladies....all through the power of a book.
It was my month to choose the book, the location, and time of the meeting. Little Bee, Good Eats, a raint Saturday in East Sac....and it was magnificent! Even though I don't get to see you every week, and may not have told you this-THANK YOU BOOK CLUB! (I hope some of you are reading this!!!)
