In the midst of all the chaos of a track meet-there's my little cousin talking to a reporter after she killed it in the 100 meter! She made it worth missing her own graduation from HS to WIN the 100 and come in 2nd in the 200-qualifying her for STATE next week! She really is an amazing runner and so fast! Congrats Em! I am so proud of you!

Well-this pic says it all. AT&T is my 2nd home lately, and tonight, home treated us right, well-except for one thing. It was such an exciting game! Went into th 12th---GREAT! Until Cousins freakin' checked Buster at home plate. Seriously, watch the video. I know baseball is baseball and that's "allowed", but come on. Cousins is a USF grad too-I hope he gets BOOED BIG TIME every time he EVER comes back!

GIANTS game with Amber and Sean-Super FUN! We started off at their house, continued the party on Bart...until about the Caldecott where I realized I had a pee issue. I mean-I HAD TO GO BAD!!! We tried everything to get me to forget-including a supposed "no fail"-counting the lights in the tunnel under the bay! Didn't work. Well, we made it off Bart and decided to run into Peets. CLOSED. Sean and I took off around the corner, were gonna head into the Hyatt, but saw a Starbucks and made a gametime decision to run in there! We got to the bathroom door, someone was in it, but-Laaaaaa!-the Heavens opened and the chick walked out! I busted in....only to find out I'd totally cut off another girl. Whoops!

Well, the real subject of this blog-the game-was phenomenal! We hung out with little-leaguers in the bleachers for literally the entire game! After the win, we found out we were famous!!! made it on TV!

ower! SO FUN!!! Pink cupcakes, presents, games, mimosas, in a wine shop-EVERYTHING a bridal shower SHOULD have! We had so much fun chatting and laughing-then went to Casa Ramos and to see Bridesmaids! Funny-but not "Hangover" funny to me. Overall a GREAT DAY!

We've heard about the Squeeze Inn over our entire 4 year tenure in Sac...we should've eaten there sooner. Come on-It was on "Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins"! Well, we finally MANNED-UP and look at that! i ate like, 2 fries and a ound of cheese. Pretty sure my bootcamp dude would murder me, but whatev! It was good, but definitely once-every-2-years good!

Grandma's lavendar.

When I would come home and the lavendar was blooming, Gramms would make me take bundles! I was happy to see it was blooming again, and swooped up another bundle to spruce up the mini-mansion! Threw in some of Mom's red-roses too-they're gorgeous! "Painting the roses red, Painting the roses red..." Hahahahahah!!!

BAY II BREAKERS!!!!

Well, we were definitely NOT the only people dressed as Giants fans!

Bay 2 Breakers was a blast!

While my favorite costume was definitely the group that dressed up as "UP" characters...I didn't get a good pic of them. This was my runner up-Prince William and what's-her-butt, and the sister and brother. PRICELESS!

LPBC continued at Harbey's and MIX in the Castro-SO FUN!!!

LPBC Part I

As I stepped off Bart, this is what I happened upon. My LP enjoying a little Civic Center homeless party and seagull eating a dead pigeon...but still, Jen was serene.

Jen and I decided that we needed to do a bar crawl-just the 2 of us. After picking up our bibs for Bay II Breakers we were near the park, so we headed to The Iron Cactus for some sangria. Next door was this place, The Creamery, that I'd always thought was an ice cream shop-so I was stoked-turns out, no ice cream...but they had beer. After a Blue Moon, we went to Lefty O'Douls for a Shock Top-then went shopping! When we'd tired, we hit up High Tide. Pool, a Juke Box, and a mouthwash shot later...it was time to head home. After all, we had the big race tomorrow.

Strolling down the street, I glimpsed an open door. Little did we know that would become our entertainment for the next 1 1/2 hours. Nevermind that the bartender was potentially a tranny. Nevermind that EVERYONE was smoking Marlboro Reds IN THE BAR! Nevermind that I talked to a guy named Ken for an hour as if he were my BFF. The Geary Club was a one-time deal-unless of course we need to prove to someone that it actually exists!

FRIDAY THE 13th!!!

Headed over to K&Ks again this weekend to join them and the family on a historic cemetery tour. After a little pre-party at their house and a small practical joke later, we headed to the cemetery. I was a little creeped out at first, but I found myself wanting to walk away from the group and check out the cemetery on my own. It wasn't creepy at all, it was actually calm. The headstones were awesome, and the actors playing the historic figures were either really awkward or really drunk...stutters, pauses, forgetting names-IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

Great concert with GREATER friends!

We met up with 6 of the best to see Zac Brown at Raley Field. It was so fun hanging out with K&M, M&D, and K&K....and the band played for close to 3 hours! Great live show!

Giants game #6 of the year! Emmett, Joseph, and I headed out to the park, and then up to the 3rd deck! It was a great WIN vs. the D-backs....have NOT been disappointed at all so far this year...plus, this game put us in 1st!!! The reason I chose this pic, of all the ones I took, is because this bag of sunflower seeds is bigger than my face.

HERE WE RALLY! I have always thought all the silly "Here We _______" catchphrases to get the Kings to remain in SAC were silly and sometimes lame. This was not. This rally was legit. Even though the people there were 1/2 good ol' fans and 1/2 sketch, everyone was there to represent! Bobby Jackson, Doug Christie, Scott Pollard, and Kevin Johnson were all there to support too-it was an all around feel-good night and got us all SUPER HYPED for the season!!! GO KINGS!

I have been filling my tire up every other day-decided it was time to take it in. They quoted me $12.75 to fix the tire...2 nails out of the tire and some coke and popcorn for us while we waited, the guy said it was complimentary-Les Schwab is aWeSOme!

Mother's Day 5/8/11

Spent a lot of the day wandering through Gramm's garden. i got a ton of great shots of the roses, but this shot just jumped out at me. I don't think this RadioFlyer is useable, but Grandmas always talked about cleaning it up and getting it in working order. I miss her.

Did somebody say Pacquiao? Got an invite to go to the fights over at a friend's house with K&K ! This was quite the experience...an entire pig, piles of Filipino food, Giants game on, fights, then kareoke! I've never seen people get so excited about a fighter-they DID!

It wasn't a great fight, but it was entertaining nonetheless!

Friday May 6th

Another Friday, another Hooliganz show! Headed up with K10 and Katie...after seeing chickens cross the road, a guy driving with his head out of the roof, and joking with a Starbucks dude, we made it to Chico! This show was special cause of all the LIVE music!!! It really added a lot of energy and musical layers to the show! Many great friends were there, and it was a great night!

It's Cinco De Mayo, and I had a lovely night with the work friends,,,but-no documentation! So I got home to write a thank you note and realized that I had a reeeeediculous number of greeting cards on our table (10). It is that time of year: Mother's Day, Graduations, Father's Day, April/May B-days-Hallmark SCORED!

It's always nice to have a day somewhat dedicated to you and NOT KNOW IT! Seriously, I had NO IDEA! Luckily a lovely 2nd grader dropped by at the end of the day with a yummy piece of chocolate...and then I got home and my WONDERFUL man def. appreciated his teacher with these lovely flowers and a card!

First of all, Holy Moly it's May! Where is 011 goooiiinngg????

Anyway, we had to be at the airport at 6:45 am. Needless to say that's early after (almost) 2 days in Vegas. We made it and, although i had every intention of sleeping-couldn't. I was obsessed with looking out the window. It was amazing to me how the landscape changed before my eyes! Out of the random circle crops, rushing rapidy river, and symmetrical Sac crops: this was my best shot!

Well, I wish I had a shot that captured: VIP line at Liquid, Private poolside bed things, Bobb-AY waiting on us hand and foot, our H*O*T waitress, swimsuits & heels, all the other boys and girls that were there, the huge beach balls, the sun, the drinks, the DJ, and the wildness of us dancing on our cushion-lounge-bed thing when the hip hop started!!!

But, I don't.

Today was, in my mind, VEGAS BABY!

It was exactly as you picture it in your head....and I am not ashamed to admit that I could definitely do that EVERY DAY!

1+7+3=11 which is 1/2 my lucky #22!!!! Yeeeeah VEGAS!!!!

Celebrating Hollie in style with all the ladies! Technically, as this night was a slight disaster, (read that as=delayed flight, turbulence, mean flight lady, looooong shuttle ride, 1:30 finally getting out), this was at 2 am on the 30th-but who's checking??? We had a blast and for the record, even at thirty, I can stay out til 6 AM and sleep on 2 chairs pushed together for 3 hours, then wake up and do it all again!

(Oh, and don't mind the weird way i am holding my dress-it felt too short!)

Doing some last minute Vegas dress shopping downtown...as I started to head out of the parking garage, I noticed amazing colors peeking throught the openings between levels. This made me drive around level 2 again, then head on up to the top to get a shot! It was waaaay better and BIGGER in person-but you get the point! Pays to shop downtown near sunset!
